Impact Reports

In 2023, MSU Extension engaged over 2,700 farmers and professionals through irrigation presentations, field days, and on-farm visits to improve water use efficiency and reporting. Demonstrations showed that upgrading irrigation systems and using smart sensor technology can save millions of gallons of water and significantly reduce energy costs. These efforts support sustainable agriculture and help producers navigate changing water regulations in Michigan. See full Impact report here.
